Spans

Mark named sections of your track — verses, choruses, solos — for fast navigation and comparison.

A Span is a named region you draw on the waveform. Once set, you can jump directly to it, loop it, or use it as an anchor point when comparing versions.

Create a span

  1. While the track is open, click the Spans tab.
  2. Click + New Span and drag across the waveform to set the start and end.
  3. Give it a name (e.g. Chorus, Vocal drop, Guitar solo) and save.

Edit or delete

Click any span in the list to open its editor. You can rename it, adjust the timestamps, or delete it.

Using spans in Compare

In the Compare view, you can jump between spans across different versions — press ] / [ to go to the next or previous span. Combined with repeat mode (R), this makes it fast to evaluate the same 8 bars across multiple mixes.
