Collaborating & Sharing

Share a Track

Two ways to share a track — a private share for Aliada users, or a public share for anyone else.

There are two ways to share a track. Choose based on who you’re sending it to.

Private share — for Aliada users

Use this when your collaborator already has (or is willing to create) an Aliada account. Private shares give you the most visibility and control.

  1. Open the track and click the Shares tab.
  2. Start typing in the recipient field — contacts from Team Contacts and My Contacts appear as suggestions, or type any email.
  3. Choose what to share: the whole asset (all versions), a specific version, or favorited versions onlymark versions as favorites before sending if you want to curate what they hear.
  4. Click Invite.

The recipient gets an email invitation. They sign in (or create an account) to listen and comment. You can see the exact time they played in the shares list. Their comments are private between them and your team — they don’t see feedback from other recipients.

  • End their share at any time from the shares list, or Extend it to push the expiry date out.

Public share — no account needed

Use this when you’re sending to a client, friend, or anyone who shouldn’t need to sign up.

  1. Open the track and click the Shares tab.
  2. Enter one or more email addresses.
  3. Optionally add a message and set an expiry date (defaults to 30 days).
  4. Click Send.

Each recipient gets their own unique link. They click it and listen — no account required. You can see who has opened their link from the shares list.

Manage shares

The Shares tab shows every active share for both types: who received it, when they last accessed it, and whether it’s expired.

  • End — immediately cuts off access.
  • Extend — pushes the expiry date out.
  • Resend — sends a new email to someone who lost their link.
